We travel to evangelical churches throughout Western Canada, delivering sermons that anchor congregations in the truth of Scripture. Having served at the Evangelical Free Church of Lethbridge, we bring a seasoned perspective to preaching, focusing on themes like spiritual resilience, the transformative power of the gospel, and living faithfully in a post-Christian culture. Our messages, rooted in passages such as Colossians 1:28-29, aim to proclaim Christ and equip believers for maturity in faith. Our itinerant ministry connects with churches of many denominations, encouraging local congregations to deepen their commitment to Christ and engage their communities with the gospel. Our time in Lethbridge has honed our ability to address diverse audiences, from rural to urban settings, fostering spiritual growth wherever we serve.
Strengthening Marriages Through Couple’s Ministry
Our couples ministry focuses on helping evangelical churches nurture strong, Christ-centered marriages. Drawing from our own journey as ministry partners, we lead workshops, retreats, or counseling sessions that guide couples through biblical principles for relationships, such as mutual respect and love outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Our approach emphasizes honest conversations about challenges like communication, conflict resolution, and spiritual unity, encouraging couples to root their marriages in prayer and shared faith. Having graduated from Bible college together and being involved in numersou ministry related endeavours, we understand the pressures facing families in Western Canada, from economic stresses to cultural shifts, and tailor our teaching to equip couples to be lights in their communities. Our collaborative style creates a safe space for vulnerability, helping couples build resilient marriages that reflect God’s design and serve as a testimony to His grace.
Advocating for Child Care International Sponsorship
Through their partnership with Child Care International, Darren and Boni inspire evangelical churches to embrace global missions through child sponsorship. After visiting the work of CCI in Guatemala, we were so impressed byu the effecite work they were doing we wanted to getr involved and see more children have an opportunity to experience life both spiritually and physically at a higher level.
Our ministry involves visiting churches across Western Canada to share stories of how sponsorship transforms lives, providing children in poverty with education, healthcare, and exposure to the gospel. Our ministry focuses on the work of Child Care International, a small, effective and accountable organization based in Canada who serve children through Christian Education in ten different countries.
We focus on holistic care through local churches. Grounded in Scriptures like Matthew 25:40, which calls believers to serve “the least of these,” we challenge congregations to see sponsorship as a practical expression of faith. Our presentations, enriched by decades of ministry experience, emphasize the eternal impact of investing in children, urging churches to move beyond local concerns and participate in God’s global work. By facilitating sponsorship drives or mission events, we help believers in Western Canada live out ouyr faith tangibly.
